How to prevent air bubbles underneith graphics

On some ATV models (suzuki lt80, honda trx450r, ...) bubbles appear inbetween the gastank and the sidepanel graphics. Preventing gastank bubbles from appearing can be childsplay. The trick to cure this problem envolves these small but simple steps.

1. Clean out the inside and outside of your gastank with a good carb cleaner. Let is set and dry completely for 1 day.

2. While you're waiting, perforate your sidepanel graphics with little holes.
(this step is not really neccesary if you carry out step 3 to your best)

3. Next, paint the sides of the gastank, where the graphics are to be installed, with krylon clear spraypaint for plastics and let it set again untill completely dry.

4. Install the sidepanel (gastank) graphics.

What the krylon clear spraypaint in step 3 actually does is, it seals the pores of the plastic tank where the paint has been applied, preventing the vapors (from inside the gastank) to escape there, prefenting bubbles to appear. Other than that solution you need to perferate the graphics.
